What is it: The Capital of the United States of America, and one of it's most impressive cities in the United States. It has all the qualities of a big city, coupled with the fact that it never overwhelms you.

Where Should you visit: One should first consider a tour of the White House Visitor's Center, for a  a wealth of information on one of the most powerful symbols of American history and politics. From there you can make your way to the Vietnam War Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. Washington D.C. is well known for its great museums. From the Holocaust to the history of space exploration and from dinosaurs to international spies, there is a museum for almost every person and interest, with many of them offering free admission. Great shopping, restaurants and Colonial architecture can be found in Georgetown. Also D.C. China town is one of its nicest assets, holding many fine restaurants and dining options.

Where to eat:  Washington D.C. has many dining options. One can find good places on 8th Street between Pennsylvania Ave. and M Street. Or if one likes Asian cuisine, than a visit to china town, to eat in the many Chinese and Japanese restaurants should do the trick.
